The Production Manager is responsible for managing the Grounds Guys workforce and ensures that we are delivering a fanatically amazing experience of grounds care services to our customers from introduction through contract activation. These responsibilities include, among other matters, the following:

  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times as a representative of this company and of its ownership
  • Contribute to company sales through lead generation, account management and maximizing upsell opportunities when they are present
  • Recruitment and selection of Team Leaders and Team Members
  • Train and continue training all Team Leaders and Team Members through Orientation for safety, proper use of equipment, general maintenance of equipment, education of any local, state or federal laws necessary
  • Scheduling of all work to job completion
  • Set budgets for COGS
  • Track and maintain direct and indirect labor
  • Evaluations of Team Leaders and Team Members
  • Adhere and supervise to a company policies, procedures and goals
  • Winter operations are also expected when necessary which include:
    • operating equipment
    • snow and ice anticipation/management
    • scheduling of adequate sleep patterns and ensure that all Team Leaders and Team Members are rested, mentally alert and not under the influence of alcohol or any drug that might alter their capabilities
